Yes, the attrition rate in network marketing is high. Why, because many people only see the rewards that can be achieved and they don’t consider the effort and commitment needed to succeed.

JOINING a network marketing company is simple and inexpensive. BUILDING a network marketing business requires hard, smart and consistent work. If you are passionate about your company and product(s) and have a real desire to create something substantial you can realise your goals.

In the beginning you will have to put in the hard yards but you are working the four year plan, not the forty year plan. Once you have a group of loyal customers and a team of productive business partners you will have financial freedom and the time to enjoy life. Then it truly becomes fun.

A major challenge for us MLMers is the negative attitude of the uninformed. These are people who think they know what network marketing is. They have based their opinion on search engine reviews or the story from a mate/relative who once joined an MLM company.

Search engine reviews….

In nearly almost all cases of “it’s a scam” reviews the post is written by either someone who joined, did nothing (or did wrong things) and now blames the company, or they are written by someone who is promoting their own opportunity.

Just like a franchise, network marketing has a system and if you follow that system the business will work. It takes discipline and it takes time. You need to educate yourself about the business model, your company, your products and marketing. People will join without knowledge of the industry and no desire to learn. When they don’t see (immediate) results they can’t blame themselves so “it’s a scam”.

Then there are those who have their own opportunity to push. The sneaky way to do this is to knock the opposition. So if you search any MLM company you will see results claiming “it’s a scam”. But if you scroll to the end of these posts in almost all cases you will be offered the WORLDS BEST way to get rich quick. This will be their own scheme, and of course it is the best opportunity ever! Lazy, deceitful and unethical.

Mate/relative who once joined….

Okay, so this mate has first hand experience of how these MLM companies suck you in. Back in 1992 he signed up to be a distributor and it was all just a con. He filled in the forms, paid $100 (he leaves out the fact that he received $100 worth of product) and even opened the Welcome pack.

Then he sat on the couch with a six pack of beer and a huge bowl of potato chips watching the idiot box (okay, that’s a bit harsh but you get the picture) and guess what??? ….nothing happened!!! ….no cheques arrived. “it’s a scam”.

And there are two types of network marketers. Those who think they can and those who think they can’t. And they’re both absolutely right.

Don’t fool yourself. Your attitude is always working. It’s either working for you or against you. You can’t escape it. The results you’re producing in MLM – either positive or negative – are the direct function of your mental attitude.

Remember, what you sow so shall you reap. If you’re planting seeds of doubt you’re going to end up with a garden of weeds and that only creates more doubt that leads to more failure. Make a commitment now to become a CAN DO person and create the success you deserve.

Stay positive and NEVER GIVE IN. Network Marketing is a genuine business with real products offering real results and value for money. It is a business model employed by some of the worlds biggest companies and it has created significant income and time freedom for many, many people. I know this to be true because I know some of these people personally.
